NACI have been awarded the contract for the provision of air conditioning inspections and reports to Livenation, the largest live venue entertainment company in the world. NACI - Livenation

NACI have been tasked with ensuring that Livenation’s portfolio of prestigious live music and entertainment venues throughout the UK are fully compliant with the Energy Performance of Buildings Regulations. Livenation’s portfolio includes Sheffield Hallam Arena, Cardiff International Arena and the Academy Music Group (AMG) venues, more commonly known as the 02 Academies.

The inspections are expected to show significant cost and carbon reductions for the company, who are committed to reducing energy usage wherever possible. As a member of Industry Green, a voluntary industry certification programme, Livenation are very aware of their impact on the wider environment.

NACI were initially asked to undertake a report at Livenation’s most prestigious and recognisable venue, Wembley Arena. Following successful completion of the inspection, significant energy savings were found at minimal cost leading to the award of the rest of the portfolio. Due to the unique issues raised by entertainment venues, where capacities can fluctuate on a daily basis, Livenation were looking for a partner who could appreciate these and provide additional value.

NACI Director Richard Asquith said

‘Livenation are yet another great client for NACI and we are delighted at the opportunity to showcase the diversity of services we provide. The venues present some very unique challenges, both in the way they operate and the way they have been designed, but we are confident that we will be able to meet these and save the client significant costs and energy usage
